| Through her cultural translation perspective of poetry translation, Susan Bassnett firmly believed the translatability in translation of poetry and put forward the theory of “transplanting the seed”. This thesis, based on the cultural perspective, makes overall description and analysis of the background, theoretical source and theoretical connotation of Bassnett’s poetry translation focusing on her view of transplanting the seed, and is supposed to discover the defect and significance of her poetry translation theory in global culture. |
