| 运用长江经济带各省（直辖市）2009年和2014年的相关数据，从土地面积、城镇数目、总人口、城镇人口、人口密度等几方面分析长江经济带城镇体系发展现状；得出结论：长江经济带经济发展水平较高，城镇布局较多，在全国经济发展格局中具有举足轻重的地位，然而长江经济带东中西三大地带城镇体系发展差距较大，空间分布不均衡，运行成本较高；据此提出相关建议措施，改善长江经济带城镇体系不合理的现状，促进长江经济带健康稳定发展。 |

| Abstract: |
| By using the related data of the provinces and municipalities in 2009 and 2014 along the Yangtze River, this paper analyzes the status quo of the urban system development along the Yangtze River economic belt from the perspective of land area, total population, urban population, population density and so on and obtains that the economic development level of the Yangtze River economic belt is relatively high, that its urban layout is relatively numerous and that it plays an important role in Chinese economic development pattern. However, the urban system development has big difference among east, middle and west part of the belt, the spatial distribution of the urban system is not balanced, and its operation cost is high. Based on that, the corresponding suggestions and measures are that the irrational status quo of the urban system of the belt should be improved and that the healthy and stable development of the belt should be promoted. |
