Abstract:The paper aims to analyze the historical evolution of Chinese-style modernization. From a domestic perspective, the historical evolution of Chinese-style modernization has gone through three major historical transformations: the founding of the People’s Republic of China marks the historical transformation from passive exploration of modernization to active exploration of modernization; the reform and opening-up marks the historical transformation from selective exploration of modernization to innovative exploration of modernization; from the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) outlining the natural characteristics of Chinese-style modernization to the decision of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to further promote Chinese-style modernization through further deepening reform in an all-round way, the historical transformation from successfully stepping out of Chinese-style modernization to continuing to promote Chinese-style modernization has been realized. From a global perspective, the three major historical transformations have brought China’s entire modernization process since modern times from passive learning to active catching up to actively surpassing the developed countries in two major steps, making Chinese-style modernization present a future development trend, thus confirming that Chinese-style modernization will surely open up broad prospects in further deepening reforms in an all-round way
