Abstract:Rural revitalization emphasizes “talent revitalization”. Only by solving the problem of talents can rural areas be truly revitalized. Therefore, promoting various talents, especially attracting new rural elites to participate in various hometown development projects, has become an objective requirement for realizing the rural revitalization strategy. New rural elites, as an important force for realizing the rural revitalization strategy, play a positive role in promoting industrial revitalization, talent revitalization, cultural revitalization, ecological revitalization, and organizational revitalization during the comprehensive promotion of rural revitalization. However, in practice, some prominent problems have emerged, such as unclear positioning and understanding of new rural elites, lack of emotional communication, blocked practical channels, and inadequate protection of rights and interests. In this regard, it is necessary to ensure that new rural elites “always miss their hometowns” through a variety of public opinion propaganda, strengthen the daily emotional contact to promote the new rural elites to “often come back” and pay attention to a variety of measures to encourage and support the new rural elites to “jointly seeking hometown development”, continuously improving the effectiveness of new rural elites’ work in rural revitalization.
