Abstract:Employees engage in pro-organizational unethical behavior not out of self -interest or revenge, but in order to benefit the organization. This study investigated the mechanisms by which workplace spirituality affects employees’ pro -organizational unethical behavior through questionnaire surveys conducted in Beijing and Shanxi. A total of 427 valid questionnaires were collected at two different time points. The empirical results indicate that workplace spirituality has a positive impact on employees’ pro-organizational unethical behavior, with job satisfaction playing a fully mediating role. Workplace exclusion positively moderates the influence of job satisfaction on pro -organizational unethical behavior, and also positively moderates the mediating role of job satisfaction between workplace spirituality and employees’ pro-organizational unethical behavior.
