The core requirement of the construction of the Belt and Road under the rule of law is to strengthen the legal exchanges with the Belt and Road countries under the guidance of the rule of law concept to deepen the understanding of the legislation of the Belt and Road countries. This needs to be achieved by taking the removal of language barriers in the legislative texts of the Belt and Road countries as the prerequisite, and by translating the legislative texts of the Belt and Road countries. However, at present, the translation of the legislative texts of the Belt and Road countries lags behind the overall pace of the Belt and Road construction. In the construction of the Belt and Road under the rule of law, the translation of legislative texts is of outstanding necessity. China should better plan and translate the legislative texts of the Belt and Road countries, set clear guiding principles at the technical level, properly plan the selection of the legislative texts, and pay attention to the cultivation of talents and the construction of institutions for the translation of legislative texts of “the Belt and Road”, so as to ensure the stability and sustainable development of the construction of the Belt and Road.
