Abstract:In recent years, as one of the individual motivational styles, the relationship between regulatory focus and job crafting has attracted the attention of scholars at home and abroad. Employees with different regu_x005flatory focuses tend to be different in the way of job crafting, which may be affected by leadership styles, such as transformational leadership. Based on this, this study is the first to empirically explore the relationship between regulatory focus and job crafting in China, and reveal the mechanism of transformational leadership style in it. The results show that: (1) promotion focus is significantly positively correlated with increasing structural job resources, increasing social job resources and increasing challenging job demands, and negatively correlated with decreasing hindering job demands; (2) prevention focus is positively correlated with the increasing structural job resources and social job resources, but negatively correlated with increasing challenging job demands and decreasing hindering job demands; (3) transformational leadership has no significant moderating effect on promoting focus and job crafting in all dimensions, while it has a significant moderating effect on prevention focus and job crafting in all dimensions.
