Actor network theory provides a new perspective and new method for the study of building and making good use of county-level media convergence center. As the “underpinning project” of national governance, the construction of county-level media convergence center has the dual attributes of politics and media. With the help of actor network theory, this paper discusses the path choice of strengthening and making good use of the current county-level media convergence center from the elements of “actor”, “translation” and “network”. It can be found that strengthening the county-level media convergence center is a process formed, developed and updated by the actor organization and interest alliance, and the construction of actor network is the key index of making good use of the county-level media convergence center and opening up the “last mile” of the political communication system.
