    摘要:

    新人文主义在产生背景、倡导主张等方面与五四新文化存在较大差异,因此,在中国推介新人文主义难度很大。以吴宓、梅光迪、胡先骕等人为代表的学衡派和梁实秋,在推介新人文主义时因采取不同的策略,推介结果也有很大不同。学衡派基于“昌明国粹、融化新知”的目的采取了直接推介的方式,加剧了学衡派与新文化知识分子们的对立,导致白璧德及新人文主义在中国的形象被“妖魔化”。梁实秋吸取了学衡派推介失败的教训,巧妙地采取了间接推介的策略,虽然未能使新人文主义在中国引起广泛影响,但取得了比学衡派更好的推介效果。

    Abstract:

    There are great differences between the New humanism and the May Fourth New Culture in terms of background and advocacy,so it is very difficult to promote the New Humanism in China.Xueheng School,represented by Wu Mi,Mei Guangdi and Hu Xiansu,and Liang Shiqiu adopted different strategies in promoting the New Humanism,and their promotion results were also very different.Xueheng School adopted a direct promotion method for the purpose of"prospering the national quintessence and melting new knowledge",which intensified the opposition between the Xueheng School and the intellectuals of the new culture,resulting in the image of Babbitt and the new humanism in China being"demonized".Liang Shiqiu learned the lessons of the failure of the Xueheng School to promote,and skillfully adopted the strategy of indirect introduction.Although it failed to make the New Humanism have a widespread influence in China,it achieved a better promotion effect than the Xueheng School.
