We can analyze the main aspects of the contradictions of socialism in the new era by threefold logic. From the analysis of generation logic, because of “people’s needs”, better and higher requirements for the development level of the productive forces have been put forward, so that the socialist contradiction in the new era can emerge. From the evolution logic analysis, the socialist contradictions in the new era include “needs  development-needs” negative negative logic evolution link, “people’s needs” is the power source to resolve the “development”. From the analysis of pragmatic logic, only by confirming the dominance of “people’s needs” can the socialist contradictions in the new era have social dynamic effect. Therefore, although “development” is the key to resolving conflicts, “people’s needs” is the theme to resolve “development” and should be the main aspect. Clarifying this issue is of great significance to the thoroughly understanding of historical materialism and the correct implementation of the Party’s development philosophy.
