Abstract:This paper takes the relationship between executive pay and performance in NPOs as the starting point to investigate how executive payperformance sensitivity varies with political factors,and based on a sample of the foundation disclosed by China social organizations network from 2005 to 2013,we empirically examine the influence of political factors on executive payperformance sensitivity in NPOs It is found that there is a strong sensitivity between executive pay and performance in the China foundation,and this phenomenon is more obvious in foundations without political connections and which have grassroots party organizations Further research shows that,compared with nonpublic foundation,public foundations have higher executive payorganizational performance sensitivity The nature of the foundation has very limited impact on executive payperformance sensitivity
