Because of the new features and new problems of population development, Chinese Government puts forward “Two-Child Policy”. Two-Child Policy has triggered the attention of Chinese and foreign media and the public rapidly. This paper chooses the reports of People’s Daily and New York Times on the “Two-Child Policy” as the research object, analyzes the content of reports, such as reports frequency, genre, issues, keyword descriptions and news sources, and summarizes the characteristics of Chinese and foreign media in the “Two-Child Policy” reports, hoping that China’s future policy reports will be inspired.
