Abstract:It is the human resource dilemma of social worker in China, which urgently required theory and practice to explore the solution from organization management prospective. Thus, we hypothesized and tested that empowering leadership employed by social work organization supervisor was the influencing factor of social worker’ psychological capital, 16 social work organizations and 110 social workers were invited to participate in our research,among 104 collecting questionnaires, 92 are valid. The results of stepwise regression on the survey data demonstrated the causality relationship between empowering leadership and psychological capital, which was statistical significant, therefore, the hypothesis was supported. The finding may enrich the relevant theory and provide a valuable reference for solving professional dilemma of social work in current China at micro level.
