Abstract:How to recruit, select and train high quality R&D talents and examine their work performance is an important issue faced by strategic emerging industry for innovative development. The study is based on a sample of scientific and technical personnel of a Shenyang aviation manufacturing group and uses event interview and questionnaire survey to construct R&D talents competency model for strategic emerging industry. The model consists of such four dimensions as power and behavior, work attitude values, interpersonal skills, knowledge and skills and has 18 indicators for competency. This study not only enriches and improves the competency model theory but also has important reference value for enterprise management practice of strategic emerging industry.
