Baidu index as a big data searching tool is used to nationally survey the socialist core values construction situation. It is found that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the people’s concern about the socialist core values has been increasing continuously. But there are also some problems, such as the disjointing of information delivery for the core values and the public information demand, the lack of precise positioning in the process of core values construction, further improvement needed in the sustainability of news agency focus and so on. Through the big data analysis of the socialist core values, it is suggested that the relevant governance subjects of China must actively construct the cooperation mechanism, the media guidance mechanism, the model innovation mechanism, the precisely positioning mechanism and performance evaluation mechanism to promote the further perfection of the related policies for the socialist core values.
