The scope adverbs in the unearthed medical books mainly include 18 words such as “bing”“jiebing”“xu”“chu”“jiejin”“jie”“ju”“fan”“jin”“gong”“tong”“zhou”“pian”“wei”“nai”“cai”“du”“ge”, most of which have been used in modern Chinese, “jiebing” is not used in modern spoken Chinese any more but still kept in dialect, which indicate that the scope adverbs in the unearthed medical books have strong stability. The examination of scope adverbs in the unearthed medical books can provide the reference for the usage of scope adverbs at PreQin Dynasty and two Han Dynasties and the development path of the semantics.
