Ethical thought as the essential part of Ayn Rand’s philosophy, which is called Objectivism, we can analyze its research status by contents and methods. Research contents focus on its total features, political ethical thought, female ethical thought, as well as the ethical thought of business and education and so on. Research methods mainly include interpretation study, validation study, and comparative study. In general speaking, the limitation and deficiency of current studies on Rand’s ethical thought are the narrow and shallow of critical contents, the lack of critical methods, and the bipolarization of critical attitude.
