Liu Shengmu’s TongChengWenXueYuanYuanKao records 1206 writers’ life of Tongcheng School, providing a rich resource to Tongcheng School’s origin and evolution. However, there are a lot of missing characters in the book, such as the writers’ name, alias, pseudonym, native place, civil service examination, official career, book name and volume and so on. Besides, there are still some mistakes in writers’ biographies. Through the careful research, we can make 26 authors’ school name match the alias and correct the biography’s mistakes.
