Abstract:Respecting and recognition of diversity and difference of social members is the key to promoting social harmony of human beings, social inclusion is a prerequisite to ensure that all members of society can effectively integrate in the society. Due to the physical defects, the disabled elderly psychological burden is heavy, they tend to take themselves alienated from society and even the family, and because of the lack of the ability to obtain social resources, the disabled elderly gets marginalized and ignored by society, which makes them a low degree of social integration and difficult to integrate society. From the perspective of social inclusion, this paper analyzes the obstacle of disabled elderly in the aspect of low income, low social identity, the lack of interactive behavior, mental disorders and low acceptance degree, and proposes that China should increase propaganda and care for the elderly with disabilities, provide targeted pension service, build a platform for social interaction, improve mental level of acceptance and social inclusion, and promote their integration into society to achieve a dignified life and to share social development outcomes.
