Abstract:Crowdfunding is a fundraising model which is based on the Internet platform and used by enterprises or individuals that have creative ideas to seek capital, intelligence or other social resources from the public. In recent years, crowdfunding gradually raised academia concerns and attention. While the domestic research about crowdfunding is almost at the initial stage, and it is limited to the theory research about the connotations, risks and countermeasures and is short of systematic and comprehensive literature review and research prospects. This paper introduces the crowdfunding’s basic status and important literatures at home and abroad, and provides an overview of the crowdfunding from three perspectives (capital providers, capital seekers, and intermediaries), in each dimension, we carded and discussed the issues of participation motivation, the determinant factors for success, risks and legal framework in the filed of crowdfunding.
