Abstract:With the transfer of rural surplus labor force,intergenerational replacement of migrant workers appears, and the new generation migrant workers borned in the 1980s and the 1990s become the main force of modern industrial workers. Although this group has higher education level and competitive labor skill, many of their labor rights are not fully protected, such as labor remuneration right,rest and vacation right,social security right,etc., by which conflict of interests caused become an important factor influencing social economic order. Based on the survey of the new generation migrant workers in Guangdong Province,this paper analyzes the reasons for the lack of their labor rights and puts forward some suggestions to improve the new generation migrant workers’ labor rights protection mechanism.
