Abstract:About the relationship between the former seven giants school and the Cha Ling school, Chen Tian had a deep going conclusion that the cabinet’s writing right fall into the common officials, but the scholar in the Ming and Qing Dynasties regarded that the former improved the latter, or the former was legitimism and the latter was wicked. According to the fact that the usual practice was refused and the scheduled recount logic of the former seven giants school, researching on the epitaph writing of Kang Hai’s father, it is found that the essence of this division event is fight for the writing right and finally influenced the writing tides of the middle and late Ming Dynasty. Facing the former’s violent attack, the Cha Ling School counterattacked so ambiguously that it looked like avoiding. The cause is related with the fact that the former was derived from the latter and the feature of argument between literary schools which is not necessary in the form of a real fight.
