In order to deepen the research on newtype urbanization, on September 2014 the Academic Forum of the 5th Comparative Research Workshop: Newtype Urbanization and Integration of Urban and Rural Development was held by Central Compilation & Translation Bureau and Chongqing Technology and Business University. The scholars discussed on some problems such as newtype urbanization development strategy, relationship between city and countryside and its integration development, citizenization of migrant workers, urban governance, etc.
