Abstract:The artistic achievement of Zhenzhentang Poetic Manuscripts includes ancient style with Qiyan like Li Bai style, Du Shaoling and Li Shangyin’s style in his Qiyan poems, Bai Juyi’s style in his “New Lefu poems”, his “Titleless Poems” consistent with that of Li Shangyin, Li Bai style of Qijue in his Qiyanjueju, and his Qijue on “eulogizing history” exactly similar to Du Mu’s “eulogizing history”. Zhong Yunfang had unique skill of several poets of Tang Dynasty. In addition, Zhong Yunfang’s poems were good at expressing emotions, comparison and exalted mood, learned from “Shisao”, combined realistic description of The Book of Odes with romanticism of The Odes to Chu. His poems had their unique artistic individuality because he was good at expression and classic stories, mixed the writing styles of the prose masters in the PreQing Dynasty and the Han Dynasty. Zhong Yunfang deserved to be called the forerunner of Revolution in Poetic Circle”, made efforts to create a new way for popularization, vernacular writing and universality of old poems.
