The process of the birth and development of Marxism is the process of socialism from fantasy into science and from theory into practice. The socialism with Chinese characteristics, which is a practical movement form of Marxism and which accepts concept of Marxism as a guide. Whether the concept of Marxism is correct or not directly affects the future and fate of socialist practice with Chinese characteristics, the socialist future and fate, in turn, affects our cognizance and attitude to Marxism. The collapse of Soviet Union and eastern Europe socialist countries is not the failure of Marxism, but the failure of wrong concept of Marxism of communist party members of Soviet Union and eastern Europe socialist countries. The future and fate of socialist practice with Chinese characteristics is closely linked to concept of Marxism.
