Abstract:In the front of the revolutionary mobile phone product, "Robot Apple", Samsung has not been defeated but Nokia and HTC have, on the contrary, through the implementation of effective intellectual property strategy and superior marketing, Samsung surpassed Apple to become the world’s largest seller of mobile phone products. In this patent war, in addition to boldly taking hot pursuit policy, responding to and initiating patent litigation, Samsung’s leading patent reserves and R&D technology are important basis for unbeaten Samsung in this war. This paper attempts to summarize Samsung’s intellectual property strategy in the patent war with Apple and to generalize the experience for the reference to Chinese enterprises.
