Abstract:Yuan Xie’s Xiezhaijiashushuchao was a textbook which used to teach his descendants in family school and is a representative work of Lu Jiuyuan’s School of the philosophy of mind. Yuan Xie usually interpreted Shangshu’s ideas to oppose to changing Confucian classics and always used the keywords to illustrate justice. The basic ideas of the philosophy of mind with significant school characteristics was elaborated by taking advantage of explaining Shangshu, meanwhile, Cheng Zhu School’s thoughts were penetrated, demonstrating compatibility. The interpretation and the explanation of Xiezhaijiashushuchao’s thoughts can unearth the struggle and integration of the trend of thoughts at the South Song Dynasty.
