Many words of the steles in the Eastern Han Dynasty are worth deeply discussing, the meaning of some words of which needs to be further explained and some words or meaningseparated words of which are not incorporated into largescale dictionaries. This paper tries to explain several words of the steles in the Eastern Han Dynasty (mainly from Li Shi) and hopes to provide reference for the revision of the Unabridged Chinese Dictionary.
