By criticizing capitalist industrial society, Frankfurt School exposes that the socalled affluent capitalist society is actually a “sick society” which has comprehensive diseases such as a “oneway” and “offensive” syndromes and which significantly represses human nature to make the people become a tool so that human destruction of capitalist society is revealed and its evil nature is unmasked. The Frankfurt School’s critical theory of society is of importantly theoretical reference and significance to contemporary society of China.
