It is of important educational significance to approaching the models, scientifically setting up and learning the models, and bringing the model spirit into fully play and transmitting demonstration role of the moral of the models. By analyzing principles and standard of model education, according to the blind areas in model selection and propaganda of model education, based on thinking method and development characteristics of college students in new era, this paper advances “Four Combinations” strategies such as combination of practicability and transcendence, combination of generality and particularity, combination of tradition and contemporary era, and combination of setting up model and public opinion propaganda in learning models in order to help ideological and political education of college students in new era.
