Abstract:Objective: to take the leftbehind children in rural area of Banan district of Chongqing as an example, the empirical research about the status quo and demands of their growth education was conducted. Methods: using the methods of questionnaire survey and semistructured interviews, the living condition, education and mental health of leftbehind children were analyzed. Conclusions: the living condition of leftbehind children is worrying; their studying is lacking of enthusiasm; their emotion and mentality is lacking of caring; their proper behavior and moral notion is lacking of correct guidance. The impact factors resulted from such affects as the nation, society, schools, families and themselves. Suggestion: the governments, communities, schools and their families should assume corresponding responsibilities, supervise and solve the problems of leftbehind children together, meanwhile, their selfeducation should be strengthened.
