Ancient China does not have the concept of insurance but has a lot of ideas and policies for hungry affairs of the state, feeding the old and the young, and supporting the poor and relief system and so on, which are really primitive social insurance ideas. Ancient China regarded disasters and poor group as an important part of administration, which accumulated abundant experience for social insurance work.
