Abstract:Insurance industry has enjoyed faster development in recent years, over 25 percent by annual margin, positioning it as one of the fastest developing industries. However, there exited an obvious misbalance among different cities, regions accordingly, especially between the rural and urban areas. This misbalance found its way in the scale, intensity and depth of insurance, as well as the amount of the insurance agencies. The main indicators to measure provincial, autonomous regional or municipal insurance development consists of the scale of insurance fees and its increase rate, intensity and depth of insurance and the amounts of insurance agencies and headquarters etc. Many elements can be found to have an influence on insurance development in different regions which mainly consists of GDP, population and its distribution, controllable income of town people and geographical location.
