Fei Mu has been concerned by the masses since he worked in movie field,and Spring in A Small City awards his position in movie history.Reviewing his creative process from Spring in A Small City indicates that he made efforts to make Chinese films with nationalization of China.This paper discusses his contributions to Chinese films from such two aspects as Chinese film languages and contents and themes and reveals the historic orbit of Chinese films in the nationalization process of China.
