Chinese consumption demand becomes more dynamic which gives rise to the constantly upgrading of residents' consumption with constantly rising of income and continually promoting of quality of life since the Reform and Opening Policy were carried out in China,but there are some certain regional differences on consumption structure.This essay employs cluster analysis to analyze the consumption structure of Chinese urban residents in 31 provinces in order to find out the differences of consumption structure in different provinces.The purpose of this paper is to help the local government to establish more suitable policies to promote development of local economy more effectively.
