The improvement of urban crisis management ability has become an important issue for each government.The rainstorm in Chongqing in 2007 exposed many defects in China urban crisis management.Construction of effective management crisis mechanism needs to perfect laws and regulations for crisis management,to set up special crisis management agencies,to emphasize the cooperation between the media and higher learning institutions and to learn foreign experience.
