The issue of elderly care is a matter of national importance for China, and provinces and cities in China are trying new models of elderly care. However, there is not yet a widely recognized program. The new communitybased health care model for the elderly relies on community hospitals to establish a complete and intelligent community elderly care model suitable for all levels of income. The model is governmentled, and the community, elderly care institutions, and community hospitals are organically integrated into a trinity. This paper puts forward constructive suggestions based on the problems faced in the construction of the smart community health and elderly care model in a targeted manner.
