As an important position for training professional talents, the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities should serve the national and local development strategies and meet the needs of economic and social development, which is also the core path of the connotative development of colleges and universities. Based on Chongqing, this paper analyses the situation of talent cultivation in colleges and universities in Chongqing, the industrial development in Chongqing, and espicially the current situation and trend of industrial development under the guidance of intellectualization. At the same time, in view of the problems existing in the docking of talent cultivation and industrial development in Chongqing’s colleges and universities, this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of formulating docking plan, improving coordination and promotion mechanism, policy guarantee mechanism and supervision reward and punishment mechanism in order to improve the current situation and better serve the industrial upgrading and transformation of Chongqing.
