In recent ten years, evidence based practice, which is the research method based on natural science logic, not only has big influence in medical science, but also is widely applied in social science practice research field, especially widely used in social work research field, which hasten the research method of evidence based practice by taking evidence as the center. This paper reviews the academic origin and meanings of evidence based practice, studies the status quo of evidence-based-practice-type social science research at home and abroad, finally analyzes the difficulty and challenge of evidence based practice in China development and hopes to use this paper to boost the popularization and consensus of evidence based practice in the empirical research of social science.
