Abstract:Never Let Me Go, a science fiction by Japaneseborn British author Kazuo Ishiguro,tells a story about a group of clones’ life experience. As clones,their identity is very special, therefore a strong identical awareness is formed. They desire to find out their real identity, and long to find out their “possibles”, and finally they know they were brought out as “donors”. This paper aims to probe into the process of construction of clones’ identity, revealing clones’ mental course, their confusion of growth, and their destiny.
