The construction path of the ethnic novels’ cultural identity during the 1950s1970s is mainly destroying the old and establishing the new. It has two specific ways such as intrinsic cognition consciousness and the external practice behavior for “destroying the old and establishing the new”. This effectively updates the cultural identity of ethnic minorities, but digests their traditional cultural identity attributes. The ideal cultural identity construction should boost the organic integration between oneself and the others.
