By using diamond theory to construct the influential factors system of industrial structure supererogation, by using R software respectively set up LASSO regression and Panel Data model, this paper analyzes influential factors for industrial structure supererogation of the whole and the individual, and the analysis shows that the promotion of industrial structure supererogation is a systematic project and needs the coordination between all social main bodies, that the influential factors of industrial structure supererogation in northwestern areas mainly include the labor cost and urbanization construction level, that the influence of laborer quality, foreign direct investment, and investment level in science and technology on industrial structure supererogation has not been demonstrated, that the influential factors of industrial structure supererogation in each northwestern province are not the same and that each province should define its own influencing factors.
