Abstract:Undergraduates’ entrepreneurial drive has a variety of definitions. This paper argues that undergraduates’ entrepreneurial drive is endogenous power in order to respond to all kinds of pressures in the process of entrepreneurship by such seven abilities as entrepreneurial imagination, knowledge learning ability, skill development ability, experience accumulation ability, business opportunity insight, resources integration ability and environmental adaptability. The questionnaire survey finds that the integration of seven kinds of abilities presents a ushaped distribution state, only 41.7% of the above data reflect the good and upward entrepreneurial drive while more than 50% of the data reflect the entrepreneurial drive below the good level. The analysis shows that all seven kinds of abilities are split towards polarization and finally cause the polarization of comprehensive entrepreneurial abilities. Many students have insufficient understanding of abilities such as planning ability, antiinterference ability and prediction ability. The educators should do more to strengthen entrepreneurship education and practice.
