Today, journalism professionalism is facing the misleading and pressure from network populism, which lead to the difficulty in the work of journalism professionalism. Taking the event that “My father is Li Gang” as an example, this paper analyzes how network makes consciously and unconsciously processing and revising of online texts in dissemination under the influence of “populism tide” and how professional media deviate from factual reality threatened by “populism” online communication. When network populism is popular, journalism media should be more sticking to journalism professionalism.
