Feng Lieshan was the first Chinese who got a journalism PhD and was a representative who used journalism to study that the source of Germany was in China. In AntiJapanese War period, he made many contributions to journalism research and journalism education field. He paid more attention to the principle elaboration on fundamental problems of journalism but was different from the journalists who studied in the United States and who focused on the discussion on the problems in the field of journalism practice and application, however, this kind of Germanystyle journalism research and education model could not meet the demand of AntiJapanese War propaganda talents under the big background of AntiJapanese and rescuing China, thus, this model had no impact.
