    摘要:

    文化资本理论认为学习者的动机以及自我认同不仅仅是一个心理学概念,更是一个社会学概念。诸多体现学习者社会阶层的个人因素与学生的学习动机,自我认同相互交织,相互影响。本研究对某综合性大学的理工科硕士研究生开展定量考察,分析代表英语学习者社会阶层的个人因素,学习动机及自我认同的特点及相互关系。在日渐多元的社会,如何构建和谐的英语学习生态,帮助来自不同地域以及不同社会阶层的学生获得最大的发展,是需要探讨的课题。

    Abstract:

    According to Cultural Capital Theory, motivation and selfidentity is not only a psychological concept but also a sociology concept. The personal factors and learning motivation as well as selfidentity of many learners are interweaved and interacted. This research makes a quantitative study on the English learning of the students pursuing a master degree in science and engineering, analyzes the personal factors representing English learners that originate from different social stratums, leaner’s motivation and selfidentity, and their interrelationships. In the diversified society, how to construct harmonious English learning ecology to help the students from different regions and different social stratums to maximize their development is a topic demanding discussion. 
