This paper examines the effecting factors of college students` volunteerism from the perspective of social culture, higher education and personal cognition, then points out that the paths such as creating volunteer culture atmosphere, reforming talents cultivation mode, guiding selfeducation of the volunteers can be used to strengthen volunteerism cultivation, to set up overall and holistic volunteerism idea and to properly deal with the coordination between different characters. 
