Under the background of globalization, it is necessary to rethink the defects in ideological and political education and to push forward ideological and political education reform in colleges and universities of China. By criticizing traditional ideological and political education mode in colleges and universities, the education ideas of dialogue and negotiation, freedom and equality, mission and task are put forward to promote the ideological and political education reform, and the consolidation of the education for cultivating useful talents with free and overall skills is the intrinsic requirement for boosting socialism development and democratic and political reform.
