Construction of professional culture on social work is an important part of the indigenization of social work as a whole and is also the most important factor that can directly promote the healthy development of the social work specialization. How to construct professional culture that not only fully reflects the values of Western social work but also is in line with Chinese specific social and cultural contexts is an important issue that must be addressed. The basic strategy for constructing professional culture on Chinese social work should take full account of the social work profession Mission and Code of Ethics, the emphasis on absorption of the positive elements of traditional Chinese culture into the construction of social work system, and building a variety of communication carriers of professional culture.
