The issue of scientific and technological innovation capability and economic growth is a hot topic of economic circle. This paper firstly sorts out the scholars’ study on the characteristics and trend of distribution of scientific and technological innovation capability based on the spatial perspective, introduces the explanation of the academic circle on the cause for nonbalanced spatial distribution of scientific and technological innovation capability, then summarizes the research achievement on the matching relation between scientific and technological capacity and economic growth based on spatial perspective, briefly reviews research status quo of the issue of scientific and technological capacity and economic growth based on spatial perspective and finally briefly elaborates future trend of the research.
